Publishing start lists and results

What spectators see on the public results page is controlled on the “Publication” page (Live). There are two levels. The “Competition” card also shows whether the competition is published for entries; that is independent of the results.

1. Public results for the competition

“Switch public results on” makes the competition's results page visible at all. When it is off, nothing is public, no matter how the individual races are set; races that were already published disappear again immediately.

2. Display per race

For each race you set the “Public display”:

• Not public: race and result stay hidden;
• Race and start information, without results: start list with lanes and boats, but no times and places;
• Race with results: start list and result.

At the top, the “Races” card counts how many races are not public, without results and with results.

This is how you change many races at once:

1. Narrow the list down with the filters, for example to one day or one race class.
2. “Select all shown races” takes only the filtered races; you select individual ones with the checkbox.
3. Under “Display for the selected races”, choose the display you want and then “Apply to n selected races”.

You can also change the display of a single race on its race page in the “Edit race” form.

Automatically when marking official

With “Publish results automatically when confirmed official”, every race gets the display “Race with results” when you “Mark official”. You switch this on with “Publish automatically” and off again with “Stop publishing automatically”. Races that are already official do not change when you switch it on. When it is off, the race's display alone decides.

Notifications

When a start list or a result is published, the club managers of the clubs involved get a notification in their daily summary.
