Getting started: create an account and sign in

To enter boats and to work as an organizer, you need a personal account. You can view competitions and read results without an account.

Create an account

1. Open “Create account” (registration).
2. Enter your name, e-mail address and password and accept the terms of use (you acknowledge the privacy policy at the same time).
3. You receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. You can sign in only after clicking this link.
4. If no e-mail has arrived, check your spam folder or request the link again on the page Confirm your e-mail address.

An expired or invalid confirmation link takes you back to the page where you request a new link.

Sign in

• Sign in with your e-mail address and password under Sign in.
• After five wrong passwords, the account is locked for 15 minutes; during this time even the correct password is rejected. Wait until the time is up or reset your password.
• Forgot your password? Via “Forgot password?” (Forgot password) you receive a link to reset it by e-mail. Resetting the password also lifts a lock.
• If the terms of use have changed, the portal asks once for your consent after you sign in.

The right place to start

After you sign in, the Account page shows your clubs and organizers and suggests the next steps:

• You enter boats for a club: “Join or create a club”. See Join or create a club.
• You host a competition: “Organize a competition”. See Create an organizer and invite your team.

Which areas the navigation shows depends on your memberships: club members see “Entries” and “Clubs”, organizers see “Competitions” and “Organizers”. Below them, set apart, are “Help”, “Contact” and “Account”. On a phone, the bottom bar shows at most four destinations, all others are under “More”.

You switch the language (German or English) in the navigation. You reach this help via “Help” in the navigation and at the bottom of every page.
