Account, notifications and deleting your account

Everything about your account is under Account.

Profile and e-mail address

• You change your name and e-mail address in the profile.
• You must confirm a new e-mail address. Your current session stays active, but the new address must be confirmed before your next sign-in.
• You also change your password on the account page.

E-mail notifications

Under “E-mail notifications” you choose how you are informed about events:

• Immediately (default): each notification on its own.
• Once a day, collected: one summary per day.
• No notifications.

You are notified, for example, about membership requests (to club managers), the decision on your membership request, your entry receipt, decisions on late entries and changes to your boats by the organizer. Published start lists and results only ever come in the daily summary, because very many races are published on a competition day. E-mails about your account (confirmation, password) and the organizer's circular e-mails reach you regardless of this setting.

Delete your account

1. On the account page, open “Delete account”.
2. Confirm with your password and the explicit confirmation.

The account is anonymized, your club and organizer memberships are removed, and all sessions end immediately. You can register again later with the same e-mail address.

If you are the only active manager of a club or organizer, you can delete the account only once someone else has taken over management. The account page tells you these reasons in advance. As the owner of an organizer, first hand the ownership over to another manager.
