Only a published competition appears in the public entry portal, and only then can clubs enter.
Readiness check
The check is in the master data, in the overview and in the last step of the setup wizard. It distinguishes:
- Errors that prevent publishing: missing sport, missing start or end date, missing entry deadline, no race classes, contradictory deadlines or an organizer organization that is not confirmed yet.
- Warnings that you must confirm explicitly: for example missing venue or contact details, no documents, no fees, missing IBAN, bookings offered without a plan, or dates that were apparently taken over from an earlier year (race class deadlines in the past or after the competition starts, start times outside the competition, camping or meal days far outside the competition days).

For outdated dates of individual race classes, the check offers “Remove these race class dates”; afterwards the competition deadlines apply.
Publish
- Fix all errors.
- Confirm every warning.
- Choose “Publish”.
If the portal refuses, it gives the reason. Publishing and unpublishing are logged.
Preview
“Preview the public competition page” shows you the page as clubs see it, even before publishing, with the note “Organizer preview”.
Results are a separate matter
Publishing the competition opens it for entries. Whether start lists and results are public is a separate decision you make on race day; see Publishing start lists and results.
