Timekeepers and display boards need no account. They work with a device key (competition API key) that you create and hand out.
Create a key
- Open Tools and there “Device API keys”.
- Give the key a name and choose its scopes, for example for timing or for the display board. Optionally, set an expiry date.
- The key is shown only once. Note it down and pass it on together with the address.

A key applies only to this competition and can be revoked at any time. The list shows its last use.
Timing without an account
The /zeitnahme page is opened with a key that has the timing scope. The key's name is the operator name. The key stays stored on the device until the competition ends or “Remove key” is chosen.
- The race list shows the races by start time with the filters “Open”, “Mine” and “All” and the progress of the results.
- “Claim race” shows the other timekeepers who is working on a race (“Release” undoes this); it is not a hard lock.
- Order & times: enter the boat numbers in finishing order, “Use order”, optionally times, penalties and exception statuses, then “Save results”.
- Stopwatch: Enter starts the race, Space stops one time per press; “Apply times to the table” assigns them to the boats.

Several timekeepers see each other's changes at once. Marking official, qualification and publication remain tasks for someone with an account.
Display board
The /anzeigetafel page is opened with a key that has the display scope and suits a screen in kiosk mode. The layout belongs to the key: under “Display board settings” at the key you choose the title, view (next races and results in turn, next races only, results only or the day's schedule), rotation interval, rows, font size, clock, club, crew and whether preliminary results appear. For several boards with different layouts, create several keys.

Neither page is linked anywhere, and both are blocked for search engines; whoever uses them gets the address and the key from you.
