Helpers with roles

Not everyone who works at the competition has to be a manager of the organizer organization. For individual tasks you assign helper roles that apply only to this one competition.

Roles

• Results entry: open races and enter times or places; no marking results official.
• Race office: in addition boats, clubs, late entries, daily schedule, team leader meeting and results entry.
• Announcer: read only: overview, print center, reports and tools.

Add helpers

1. Open the master data of the competition and there “Helpers with roles”.
2. Enter the e-mail address of an existing account and choose the role. This means the person first needs an account of their own.
3. Each account has one role per competition; a new assignment replaces the old one.

Removing takes effect immediately after a confirmation. Helpers see the competition under “Competitions” and, in the workspace, only the areas of their role.

Other kinds of access

• Managers of the organizer organization may do everything except change the bank details, which only the owner changes.
• For timing without an account and for the display board there are device keys; see Timing and display board with a device key.
• Officials such as judges or starters without access of their own are entered under Officials.
