Overview: how to enter as a club

The way from your account to the cost statement in six steps, with the deadlines that matter along the way.

The entry portal is free of charge for clubs. You enter your club's boats, maintain the athletes for them and can always see what has been entered and what it costs. This guide takes you through all the steps in order.

The way in six steps

  1. Account and club: Create an account and join your club, or create it. See Getting started: create an account and sign in and Join or create a club.
  2. Athletes: Create your club's athletes or take them over from Excel or from the federation. See Create, import and maintain athletes.
  3. Competition: Look for the competition in the Entry portal and read the announcement. See Find a competition and read the announcement.
  4. Enter: Enter boats one by one, with the entry matrix, from Excel or from an earlier competition. See Enter a boat and Enter several boats: matrix, Excel and copying.
  5. Complete: Name the team leader, book camping and meals if needed, and add substitutes and coxswains.
  6. Check and pay: In My entries, start times and costs you see all boats, the cost statement and the organizer's bank details.

You reach everything important via the Entries page. Once a club and a competition are selected there, the “Ways to enter boats” card shows the four ways to enter.

What each deadline means

Deadline Until then you can …
Entry deadline (boats) enter new boats, withdraw or delete boats yourself
Athlete entry deadline change the crew and boat name directly
Late entry deadline enter late and request changes, if the organizer allows late entries
Camping and meals deadline book and change; after that only book late, if allowed

All deadlines are shown on the competition page and on the entries page under “Deadlines and documents”, with date, time (24-hour) and countdown. They apply in the time zone of the competition.

Who may do what in the club

  • Members maintain athletes, enter boats, book camping and meals and name team leaders and referees.
  • Managers can also maintain the club profile and the members and decide on membership requests.

If you belong to several clubs, you explicitly select on every page the club you are working for. Data of several clubs is never mixed.
