Join or create a club

Find your own club, request membership or create a new club.

You can enter boats only for a club in which you are an active member. A membership always applies to one specific club; you can be a member of several clubs.

Find your club

  1. Open Clubs.
  2. Search by name, short name, club number or federation. Upper and lower case, accents and an “e.V.” at the end do not matter.
  3. At the top, under “My clubs”, you see your active memberships and open requests.

Request membership

  1. At your club, choose “Request membership”.
  2. If needed, write a short message to the club managers (at most 1,000 characters).
  3. The club's managers receive an e-mail and accept or reject the request. Until then, the portal shows “Request pending since …”.

You receive an e-mail about the decision. You can send a rejected request again.

Join without waiting

  • If you were registered for the club with your e-mail address in the old entry portal and this address is confirmed in your account, the portal accepts your request immediately; you are then a member.
  • If your club has a DKV club number, you can instead identify yourself in the membership dialog with the club account of the DKV database. If the account belongs to your club, you immediately become a manager. The portal does not store the login details.

In both cases, the club's managers receive a message about the new member.

Create a new club

Create a club only if it does not exist in the portal yet.

  1. First search for the club. If the search finds nothing, choose “Create a new club”.
  2. The portal shows you similar clubs. If yours is among them, request membership there. Otherwise confirm “My club is not listed”.
  3. Fill in the form: name, country (Germany is preselected), federation (for example DKV) and the sports. You can also find the federation by its abbreviation.
  4. After creating the club, you are its manager. The “Club created – next steps” card leads you to the next steps: add or import athletes, enter boats, complete the profile.

A name that matches an existing club is rejected so that there are no duplicate clubs.

Roles in the club

  • Manager: maintains the club profile and members and decides on membership requests; can also do everything members can do.
  • Member: maintains the club's athletes, entries, camping and meal bookings as well as its team leaders and referees.

Continue with Manage your club and Create, import and maintain athletes.
