Athlete and boat numbers, seed list, race numbers and lanes, checks, imports, device keys and automatic printing.

The “Tools” page in the workspace collects tools for special tasks. A table of contents at the side jumps to the five groups.

Athlete and boat numbers, seed list

  • Athlete numbers: assign them consecutively or match them from an Excel or CSV file, each with a preview.
  • Boat numbers: renumber selected boats or transfer numbers to boats with the same crew.
  • Seed list: enter a seed value for each boat by hand or import it from a sheet (columns “Boat no.” and “Seed”). “Draw by seed list” spreads the seeded boats in a zigzag across the races of the first open stage, the others at random.

Race numbers and lanes

  • Reassign race numbers, by race class or by time interval.
  • Move lanes in bulk: move the occupied lanes of filtered races that have not started yet, for example when a lane is closed; with a preview.

Checks

  • Validate boats against race classes: crew size and roles, gender, individual and average age as well as duplicate entries of all boats, including imported boats and boats you created yourself.
  • Athlete reverse search: all boats, race classes and races of an athlete at a glance.
  • Validate athlete rest times: whether there is enough time between two starts of an athlete, by planned or actual start times.

Imports and qualification

  • Import time plan from Excel: The schedule template contains all races with a fixed race ID. Add race numbers, date and time and import it again; missing races are created.
  • Import legacy qualification mode from XML: take over qualification modes from the old RegattaManager, with a preview.
  • Manual qualification correction: carry confirmed results over into a target stage in a controlled way when the automatic qualification does not fit.

Devices and automatic printing

  • Device API keys for timing, display boards and start systems; see Timing and display board with a device key.
  • Automatic print jobs: create PDF print jobs after defined events, for example the result list as soon as a race is official. The print queue shows the jobs.
